About Baleia Guest Lodge

Come and breathe in the relaxed atmosphere at Baleia Guest Lodge in Hermanus. We are located within walking distance from the business centre, pubs and restaurants, meaning guests can safely leave their cars in the off-street parking provided - a hard to find luxury in peak season.

Hermanus lies in the heart of the beautiful Overberg region and offers visitors a wide variety of attractions, such as whale-watching, shark cage diving and birding. Or simply laze on one of the many beaches, including the Blue Flag Grotto Beach.

Between June and December, large numbers of Southern Right whales visit Walker Bay, and both adults and calves can be sighted from the many viewing points along the famous Hermanus cliff paths.

Family friendly: We cater for all ages including camping cots and high chairs for babies.

Romantic: Our rooms are quiet and cosy and look out onto the pool courtyard making it very private from the public.

Covid Safety Approved: We have deep cleaned and sanitized the entire Guest House as per Covid-19 protocols.

Clean and organized room, fresh towels daily and non-invasive and friendly staff and management. Lovely breakfast. Was great to have use of fridge, freezer and ice available for cold drinks.

The owners were really welcoming. Going inside of the place it was really beautiful. Ive never come across a more clean and neat place. Everything was modern to perfection. The room was graciously spacious. It was fresh and clean. It was so comfortable that I felt very much at home. I went away for some alone and relaxing time, and that is exactly what I got here at this lodge. It was so peaceful, and very quiet. I left feeling refreshed and relieved. Staff were also friendly and helpful. I would go back at any time.
