Absolutely excellent. We would recommend Halfway House to anyone who visits Kimberley.

With our arrival at HHH we were received and showed our room by the friendly staff. The room was big and very neat and clean. The Kimberley temperature makes the air conditioner useless. It only started cooling the room way after midnight. The roof fan turning in the wrong direction did not help either. Did we sleep well ? -- yes. Will we use the HHH again ? -- yes, but not in summer. It being Christmas eve means we did not get to use any of the other Hotel facillities.

My room was very nice, large, modern, high ceilings and had the most enormous en suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The hotel itself is situated at the junction of two busy roads and has no pleasant outlook, my room just looked into another building that is right next door, so if you want a leafy country style place with scenic views this is not for you, but as a very comfortable stop over on a road trip it's great.
