About Mkuwazi Forest Reserve
Mkuwazi Forest Reserve is a little like an unexpected hidden gem; a magnificent and unique natural forest surrounding the 870 metre high Mkuwazi Hill.
Visitors may explore this evergreen forest on a full or half-day hike. Your hike will be accompanied by an expert guide. All fees paid will go on towards the conservation of the forest.
Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and carry at least a litre of water for the half-day hike. The path to the summit is steep, so the hike may not be ideal for the unfit.
