About Helderberg Farm Green Route
Helderberg Farm is situated in the foothills of the Helderberg Mountains between Somerset West and Stellenbosch. On offer are five interconnecting hiking trails, giving hikers the choice of over 20 km of scenic trails with various levels of difficulty.
The Green Route footpath through the forest is suitable for young kids as well as elderly folk. There is a picnic and braai area close to a playground and tea garden. An overnight hut is situated 1 km from the starting point right in the forest.
Helderberg Farm Trails are open daily from 08:00 – 18:00. Hiking permits are available at the kiosk.
