A bit about me...

Born and bred in Vienna where my mother was a legendary cook, I travelled to South Africa in the 70s for a six month visit. Well, I am still here.

Cuisine has always been my passion. For many years I worked in numerous restaurants and coffee shops as well as doing private catering.

After turning 360 degrees, I ended up at SafariNow.com. Cooking for the same people every day is something very special – they become your extended family and you turn into the ‘kitchen counsellor’. I loved all my jobs, but this is the best and most fulfilling one.

When I’m not cooking I enjoy hiking, reading, intimate dinners with friends and family, reggae and 80s music. And I am totally in love with my seven grandchildren!
