Directions to Burgherspost Wine Estate

From Cape Town, take the N7 to Malmesbury. Follow the signs for Darling, turning left off the N7. Turn right at the T-junction onto the R315. After about 15 km you will cross a railway line and Darling Cellars is immediately after this, on the left-hand side. Turn left in front of Darling Cellars, following signs to Cloof, which is at the end of a 5 km gravel road. The Burgherspost Cottages are about 3 km up the road past the Cloof turn-off. At the entrance to Burgherspost Wine Estate there will be a remote control in a box against the wall on the right-hand side with which to open the electric gate. Continue down the road until you reach a sign directing you to the Manor House. There will be a large irrigation dam to your left. Turn right at the sign towards the Manor House and the cottages are at the top of the road, looking out onto a few small dams and the vineyards.
