The perfect stopover on the N1

The perfect stopover between Pretoria and Cape Town. Superb personal attention from the owners and staff, great Karoo dinner and breakfast, extremely comfortable beds and with all the niceties of five star accommodation. Cannot believe that it is still so reasonable.
Great find.

Kuilfontein had been recommended by a business friend,it was far better than anticipated, from the staff welcome to the food- which was superb - it must be one of the most cost effective stop overs on the whole of the N1, our dogs loved being able to run free, the room and fresh linen, comfy bed all make for a super stay over , little touches like a glass of sherry and filter coffee in the room all help to make it special

Silwerskoon, rustig en stil!  Vriendelike mense, heerlike ontbyt, wonderlike, romerige melk!

Lovely overnight spot especially for a large family.
Food and hospitality was very good. Expect a working farm style of house and you won't be disappointed. Decor and amenities are rustic.
Welcoming and friendly

Welcoming and friendly. Very comfortable stay; the perfect halfway stop over on our way to Johannesburg.
Sharon McCallum, South Africa - 19 January 2015
What a wonderful little piece of heaven Sandra has! Perfectly situated for an overnight stop. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable with every fine detail thought of, right down to the personalised bathroom soap! Dinner was divine! We left early the next morning so didn't stay for breakfast. The other guests staying over (who had stayed before) said that we were missing out on the best breakfast ever. Next time, and there will be a next time, we will only leave after breakfast and a visit to the farm stall.

Excellent accommodation, clean, peaceful and quiet, friendly staff, caring and hospitable hostess. Ideal for our three small dogs as there were no other dogs on the property and plenty of grass.Thank you very much Sandra, you are a lovely person!
A perfect stopover

Simple, unpretentious but they supply everything you need. We were warm and comfortable in spite of icy weather outside.

Great farm experience in the spacious family building. Homemade food was excellent and value for money. Sandra makes sure that you feel at home.
Sandra does it again

As always, Sandra is just the tops. Even if she is not there due to her busy vacation schedule - sorry! This last visit was our 4th and as always we totally recommend Kuilfontein Guest Farm.
