Our stay at Amanzi was very relaxing and most enjoyable. The friendship shown by those that we came into contact with was heartwarming. A spacial thanks to Herman who made us a superb breakfast, one we still talk about today. The 'padkos' basket he gave us was well received on our way down to East London. Once again our sincere thanks for a wonderful stay.


Amanzi Safari Lodge
Amanzi Safari Lodge is a private retreat located in Amanzi Private Game Reserve, where guests will experience a magical safari getaway, where the wild run free. Our chalets are spacious, luxuriously furnished and fully self-catering, perched on a hill overlooking the beautiful bush surroundings of this amazing part of South Africa.

Each of the two bedrooms on the lower level has a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom and a separate guest toilet, while wooden stairs lead to the upper level with four single beds in the loft. Each chalet also boasts a private barbecue area with stunning views.

During your stay in one of the luxurious chalets the amazing beautiful dense bush area, diverse animal and bird life, the magic of the camp fire, and stunning sunsets will amaze you. Game drives are very rewarding as we offer over 30 species, including lions, Cape buffalo, kudu, giraffe, zebra and many more. Mountain bike riding trails follow the same routes as the game drives in the reserve and offer unique game watching.

Although the chalets are self-catering, our dedicated team are able to provide guests with delicious meals that can be delivered to the chalets or served at one of our beautiful venues. Our qualified chef will assist you in menu planning for any events booked at Amanzi.
