Info misleading
Hendri van der Loo, South Africa - 01 July 2013
The info provide is misleading....the Dormitory accommodates only has a kettle, not suitable for self catering. The unit also does not have an en-suite bathroom. There is a shower in the room and you do not have any privacy. ( unless you ask all other guest to leave the room). No toilet in the unit, have to go outside to use the "public" toilet facility.

The people are very friendly - keep up the good work.

The place is wonderful for outdoor activities. Friendly staff. Directions were not so clear. We saw monkeys and that was a beautiful experience. Would have been nice if there were bicycle tours or quad bike tours to take pictures of the beauty of the place, though it's understandable that there are snakes and guests' safety is considered.

Great outdoor experience and peace of mind away from the Joburg life.
It was awesome

We had a great time there and we enjoyed it, but I think the kitchen needs to be more tidy and clean. The rooms were great and welcoming.
Nice weekend

Lizard Rock
Lizard Rock is situated in the valleys of Rhenosterkop, in the tranquility of nature and fresh water mountain springs. We are situated approximately 9 km from Nelspruit central.

Our accommodation comes in the form of self-catering units as well as overnight facilities. We offer one unit with double beds and en-suite bathrooms, which are situated near the swimming pool.

All linen is supplied. Our Dormitory accommodates four guests with two bunker beds and an en-suite bathroom. The toilet is in a separate building. We have a local entertainment area with DStv, a pool table, a bar and a restaurant. Braai facilities and breakfasts are available on request.

Nelspruit has a sub-tropical climate and lush hills. It is the ideal place from which to explore Mpumalanga. The Lowveld Botanical Gardens are located just outside of the town and it boasts a rare collection of plant species. The Sudwala Caves, the Dinosaur Park and cultural core allows for a primitive African feel.
