A perfect place to rest up. Hosts were friendly and provided a welcoming Sherry. Filter coffee and Lindt chocolate was provided in the room.

Bonita and I were thrilled with our choice of B&B at Clarens. Patcham Place offered beautiful, pleasantly decorated, comfortable, well appointed, stocked with welcome sherry and new daily selection of teas, coffee, biscuits and water, very clean, with beautiful view of the mountain and garden, double room ! Daily breakfast, where we could choose different menu on daily basis ( we stayed there 4 nights) was another great experience. Patcham Place is nicely situated, off the main road but in a short walking distance to the town's square and its attractions like souvenir shops and selection of restaurant. Few hundred meters in an opposite direction one finds the mountain trails, which we gladly explored. Hosts- they were most pleasant, friendly and chatty when talked to. Very informative and gave us ample info about the town of Clarens and the area. It was our first time there. Much appreciated. All in all- we had a great stay at Patcham Place and will certainly visit again when back to this beautiful part of our country !

Patcham place is the perfect place for a relaxing, comfortable stay and a short walk across the square to the hustle and bustle. it is immaculate and quiet and the rooms are beautifully decorated. There is so much thought in all the tips, nibbles and treats and the hosts are very welcoming. Breakfast was quaint and delicious. We will definitely be back in the future and would highly recommend it.

The service was excellent, the bedrooms was well maintained and neat. The place has got a beautiful view of the mountains and the food was very nice. I would definitely go back.

Spotlessly clean B&B with amazing breakfast and friendly gracious hosts. Rooms are well appointed with lovely mountain views and nice extra touches making for a very special relaxing weekend away. Walking distance to town, local walks etc and the owners restaurant Gostos, is a gastronomical experience with live music wonderful.

We spent 2 nights at Patcham Place recently and really enjoyed our stay. Very neat and clean. The breakfast was lovely and Richard and Carol are excellent hosts. Will definitely be going back again.

Very clean, friendly reception, good beds, crisp linen and big fluffy towels. Nice attention to detail.

Although we had the smallest room, (which was our own choice for the double bed) it was very comfortable, neat and pretty. The breakfast was also delicious and everything beautifully displayed. Highly recommendable.

My wife and I stayed two days at Patcham's Place, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the balcony outside our room over the garden with its birds, and the mountain towering above, added to a really relaxing stay. Carol is an excellent hostess, and took good care of us with restaurant recommendations, and hearty breakfasts.

Patcham Place is lovely and very friendly with an excellent breakfast, a great room and great views!

The one thing that needs to be amended are the directions from Bergville on the website. It should say that the road past Sterkfontein Dam is not good at all, where the roadworks have come to a standstill.

Rooms are nice and spacious - very clean. Great view of the mountains. Richard was an absolute star and a great host. Would definitely visit again.

We couldn't fault anything about our stay. The room was beautiful has amazing views from the balcony. We received a great welcome from Richard with lots of helpful advice about local hiking, what to visit and where to eat. Thanks for making the last couple of nights of our trip such a delight.
