Had an amazing stay at Ama Casa's Hoopoe cottage. The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight. It's was a very clean cottage which is well stocked with all you could possibly need for your stay. Very well situated in the Champagne Valley.

The view was absolutely incredible.the setting of the jacuzzi made it all the more enjoyable. The room in itself was spacious and luxurious. Dave and Les were friendly and prompt with responses.Beautiful getaway from the busy city

Our family spent three nights in Sunbird cottage. The accommodation is luxurious and very well appointed. The views are spectacular. You can lie in bed and gaze upon the mountains or sit in the private Jacuzzi if you prefer. Highly recommended

We spent two nights in the sunbird house. It was amazing! The house was luxury with heated floors and a fire place. The hot tub was great with an incredible view. The view of the drakensberg was truly spectacular. Can't wait I go back!

We spent the bulk of our honeymoon on this gorgeous cottage.   The views ate spectacular.  The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay.  And the jacuzzi with a view is just stunning

Treated my husband to an amazing getaway to Ama Casa Cottages for his 50th birthday. We have stayed there before and have never forgot it. So once we had booked, we couldn't wait to get there. Totally private, you have your own jacuzzi that is clean and maintained during your stay. Lots of attention to detail to make your stay really comfortable and beautifully decorated. Of course amazing views of the Drakensberg mountains from everywhere you are, whether in bed, in the lounge, in the jacuzzi, there is even an outdoor shower.....perfect for a romantic gettaway 

Our holiday was absolutely ama-zing and we couldn't have wished for more! We had everything we needed and all our activities were 5 mins drive from the chalet! Will definitely be going back!

In Ama Casa Cottage worden we overdonderd door het geweldige huis wat we aantreffen: in de prachtig, ruime huiskamer is de tafel al voor ons gedekt, de openhaard is startklaar met hout en dennenappels. We hebben 3 geweldige slaapkamers, ieder met een eigen ruime badkamer met ligbad en inloopdouche en we hebben een fantastisch uitzicht op de Drakensbergen. Buiten treffen we op het heerlijke terras, met ligbedden ook nog een jacuzzi en een grote braai (BBQ)!! De 2 dagen dat wij hier waren, waren veel te kort!!!

Thank you Dave and Les for providing this amazing getaway in the most beautiful part of this country. Everything we could possibly have needed was provided, we had total privacy and Kingfisher cottage was picture perfect. I can't think of a single thing that could improve on what is already perfect. We shall be back in 2014 as we have found our niche in the mountains.

Ama Casa is a perfect hide-away place, thank you Les and Dave. The cottage was clean, neat and nicely decorated. Looks really modern yet it gives you all the benefit of country living. Plus it has everything you need, from the dishwasher to the iron and ironing board! The views to the mountains, amazing!!! I would really recommend this cottage to any couple which wants a peaceful and quite weekend.

Thank you Dave and Les for an unforgettable experience. It was really an experience that will not be forgotten. The only thing I regret is that our booking was only for 3 days and not longer. We will definitely be back for the spectacular surroundings and the friendly atmosphere.

If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, Ama Casa is the place to go. We saw the beauty of the Drakensburg mountains covered with snow and it was indescribable. The cottage was beautiful and well equipped. This is a great place to go for a weekend away, to enjoy the peacefulness of nature and get away from the "Buzz" of the city.

How does one dare try to sum up such an experience in words. Ama Casa, as the name implies is home (away from home). Dave and Les have thought out and executed every last detail of an utterly indulging experience just perfectly. I don't think that there is a better location in the Berg, and to wake up with a view of the mountains every morning is so energising and refreshing. This will be an annual pilgrimage for Robyn and I, and I would recommend Ama Casa without any hesitation.

We had a lovely stay, with our own private and warm Jacuzzi. The unit is decorated very nicely with modern furniture and accessories - luxurious. It has everything one needs.

We could not have chosen a more beautiful setting for a long overdue family holiday. The accommodation was perfect, the views magnificent and the Jacuzzi was the cherry on top. Ama Casa is an amazing place to stay, you always wonder when booking via the net and just going by photos, well the place looks even better than the photos, real attention to detail and awesome to have your own Jacuzzi, gorgeous views, there was even a little hare hopping around in the garden. The whole suite felt really comfortable, just to chill. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Ama Casa was an absolutely amazing experience! My husband and I stayed for four nights and wished to stay another four! If you are looking to get out of the city, just get away from work to renew your strenghs and get your mind clensed, Ama Casa is the perfect location! The view, the peace, the quiet, and the nature absolutely speaks to you. We especially enjoyed the outside shower in the summer and the nice Jacuzzi. Thanks so much. We'll be back in the winter.
