I loved the layout of the limited space, however, big dissappointment was the swimming pool which was closed (filled with water) our entire stay. Had to drive out to go swim elswhere. No privicy as the owner was busy with renovations next to our unit.

Excellent accommodation. Worthy of price. Excellent location for peace and quietness. Located in a good neighbourhood and centrally situated for our comfort. The accommodation alone is neat and tidy inside and on the outside. Very family and children friendly. Has a nice pristine pool to chill in after a hard days work or touring. I would recommend this place to anyone who is visting Cape Town . My wife is so impressed with this place, that she already mentioned she will insist that we stay here when we visit Cape Town again, I fully agree with her.

We had a pleasant stay. Everything was number one, besides the TV channels though, because it only had 1 additional channel together with your SABC 1,2 and 3. The owner is very friendly I must say and the area is nice and quiet.

We were very sceptical before we arrived at the De Helling guest house we were in for a rude awakening it is one of the best run facilities Len and Christea made us very welcome and could not do enough to make us feel at home, the flat was very clean and comfortable we have just returned from Mykonos at Langebaan and as far as the accommodation goes does not come near to De Helling. We will most definitely use the guest house again. Paul and Marie Jacobs
