I Ioved the location, the views and the gardens around the property. The bathroom shower was leaking alot into the bedroom.

The most friendly staff that respect your privacy. Comfort with a nice sea view. Friendly lady that cleans the place while you are at the beach. Run by good and honest people. Can't wait to go back.

The room we were allocated the door did not lock only the security gate. Some how the owner thought that is ok for guest to sleep in a room that does not lock. We had to put chairs to block the door. My car had to park accross the street for 2 nights because of the parking renovations.

We booked months in advance and paid the deposit for the penthouse suite. When we arrived we were met by one of the staff who told us that they had put someone else in the penthouse suite and the only room they had available was a dingy dark mouldy basement room with no view - take it or leave it. We then demanded to speak to the owner who said she incorrectly read the booking info from SafariNow and who then over the phone told us to go somewhere else as she could not accommodate us and refunded our money which was all fine and well but we spent the entire morning until 3pm driving searching for suitable accommodation which when you only have two days to spend relaxing on holiday is rather irritating. If they had double booked or made a mistake with the booking they could have phoned me before the time to sort out the error so that I could have made alternative arrangements. Very disappointing and very unprofessional will not recommend Villa Jaimé to anyone.

Good place to stay, relax, and admire the sea. Close to the Ballito Mall. Very good site. Perfect for me.

Very comfortable accommodation and within short walking distance of the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Our host Jaime went out her way to make us feel at home. We had a lovely time! Thank you

We spent 5 nights in total at this lovely place. We had the log cabin in the garden with a lovely view of the sea. From the moment we arrived to to when we left it was idyllic. Jaimé was very hospitable and helpful, the beach a perfect walking distance and the view of the sea just wonderful. We saw whales and thoroughly enjoyed the view from our bed when we awoke each morning. A perfect private enjoyable few days. Certainly value for money in every way.

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Jaimé, wonderful room, wonderful people! And Jaime is such a lovely caring lady! Fell in love with the place. Can't wait to go back again!

The room was clean and comfortable. The only problem we had is there was no aircon in the bedroom only fans. The room became somewhat stuffy, otherwise the room was adequate.

It was really excellent. The bed absolutely comfortable, big room lovely decorated, view onto the ocean and a balcony with sunbeds. Near to beach and restaurants. What could you want more? We will definitely go again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Jaime. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, and the view was beautiful! We will definitely be staying there again if we have the opportunity. Oh yes, and the owners are lovely people!

The internet marketing can be confusing - ensure you understand which room/unit you'll be getting and what it will look like. We were a family of 4 and the Log Cabin was too small for our needs. Especially the living room area is cramped and doesn't have comfortable 'lounging around' furniture. Kzn had unprecedented rain while we were there and the thatched roof leaked severely. The owner attended to it immediately. Lastly, the location is quite far from the main beach, which isn't ideal. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and the establishment is well run.

It is nice - like a home.

The stay was just ok! Nothing spectacular, the room was not cleaned at all during our stay there, including the bathroom, which for me was disappointing!

I am sorry Mr Masondo rated Villa Jaime negatively. The rooms are only cleaned on request, likewise the towels are only changed on request! We never invade peoples privacy!

Thanks to the owners, they were welcoming and warm! My family and I had a great weekend! All the places of interest are close by; enjoyed the walk and food. The peace and nature at its best! The people in the community were very welcoming too. It's beautiful place!

We arrived a bit late and had a warm welcome from Jaime and Meyer. The cabin we stayed in was nice and neat and slept like a baby. Everything was close by. A pity our stay was so short...they will see us again!

Really perfect. The spacious, peaceful apartment full of Meyer's paintings, Frankie the Parrot, Jaime's generosity, the walk on the beach with Jaime and Meyer and of course "Tom" and the "Old Girl" (The Alsations). A very special visit.

It was a fantastic place to utilize while on holiday. This venue is extremely well equipped and close to everything. I cannot wait to go back in December. This is you home away from home. Loved it!

We enjoyed every moment. The view, the silence, the hospitality, the personal attention, the deck! We took our own small Weber braai with and braai'd on the deck - champion! We are returning next year for sure!

I stayed at Villa Jaimé for two nights in the Ruby Room. The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood with ample parking and within walking distance of the beach and boardwalk. Our room was clean and air-conditioned with a comfortable bed. Great value for the price!

Very cosy Ruby Room, private and secure access. The owner is friendly and the sound of the waves is amazing. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway!

This cottage is ideal for a self-catering family holiday. We were five people(one adult, two girls of 17 and two boys of 15) and it worked perfectly. The cottage has everything you could ask for. Jaime (the proprietor) is very friendly and accommodating. I do not believe that the photos do the cottage justice. The beach is a downhill walk of maybe five minutes and the main beach is only a ten-minute walk away. I liked the fact that we were away from the 'hive of activity' with plenty of privacy but close enough for the kids to get to and from the beach. I will definitely return.

The photos does not do justice to Villa Jaimé. The sea views are breathtaking (big open views on each side) and we loved the privacy. Even though there are four other flats on the property, the Penthouse feels secluded. We enjoyed the great service, it was friendly, warm and inviting. Above all we even received a christmas gift! I would recommend Villa Jaimé to anyone looking for a relaxing experience.

What a lovely place! It is fully equipped with literally everything you can think of. Perfect for a holiday or a weekend away with the most beautiful view. It is very romantic. In the mornings, at about 09:00, the dolphins would come so near to the shore it was unbelievable, and everything can be seen from the luxury of your room. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to go there again. Thank you so much for your hospitality and beautiful place.

The cabin was small but adequate for our needs. The kids loved the bunk beds and we had everything we needed. We loved hearing the ocean at night, so peaceful and relaxing. We loved watching the monkeys in the garden in the morning.

The cottage was just what we needed during our stay in Durbs. It was cosy and very functional. Jaime welcomed us with open arms and we felt at home away from home!

We booked this flat on a few very small pictures on the Internet.We were pleasantly surprised by the nice flat with the tremendous view all around. I had an accident during the stay and I was treated by the owners Jamiè and Meyer Ernst, a doctor and a nurse. We know where we are going to stay when we are in this area.

Very enjoyable stay.

We were impressed with the cabin; it is secluded from the main house, surrounded by a lovely garden and is very private with it's own entrance. Inside, the cabin is cozy with a stunning view of the ocean from the main bedroom and lounge. We even saw whales during our stay while sitting comfortably on the balcony. The beach is walking distance but as the main house is situated on a hill, the walk back can be a bit tiring. The cabin is ideal for a young couple and I would recommend it to my friends. We'll definitely be visiting again.

This is a small, cute cabin with great veiw's of the ocean. It is not within easy walking distance of the beach as it is on a hill so you do need to get in your car and drive to and from the beach. The sound of the waves can be heard, which is lovely. We had two young children with us, which was fine, but I think this is a beautiful spot for Honeymooners or a couple on a budget. Lovely tropical gardens leading down to the cabin. Secure parking. The cabin is neatly maintained with some beautiful paintings by the owner decorating the it, giving a slightly stylish touch. Great deck to enjoy the view. Would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely place to stay for sure. We felt at home. Wonderful sea view. The house is as original as it is shown on the internet, no false or hidden photo's. There are so many places out there where they tell a lot and promise so much and yet the reality is something else but this penthouse is the real place. Thank you.

We were there for 2 nights and felt at home. The place is amazing and the view from the deck is spectacular. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and will come there again in the future.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Log Cabin. The tranquil setting is wonderfully relaxing, the rooms are cosy and the hot water never ran out:) Cant wait to go back. All in all, a wonderful last days of summer break.
