We spent four days at Hippo Pools. The place was clean, comfortable, friendly and in an excellent location. We will certainly stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending Hippo Pools to everyone.

My partner and I stayed at Hippo Pools for a few days and must say it was very pleasant and a great place to stay if you wish to travel into the KNP or Escarpment area as it is ideally located. The rooms are well equipped for a resort of this type and the house keeping is very good. Just wish there was more space to take your own nature walks. The walk to the river is great but a bit short.
River view was spectacular. SNQA - Merissa

We stayed in the Riverside lodge which was very comfortable and spacious in a lovely location. River view was spectacular. Made by all the staff to feel very welcome .Only negative is the presence of aggressive monkeys who do not miss a chance to invade the premises.
