Woodpecker Cottage
Stay in your very own garden cottage with a separate entrance and stoep, have a swim in our salt water pool or relax, braai and Jacuzzi under a thatched lappa. Enjoy local wines at the Woodpecker Pizza Deli, which is a favourite with the locals, with delicious thin-base gourmet pizzas, burgers and pastas, freshly-sliced deli meat and cheese platters, as well as delicious milkshakes and desserts.

Let us pack you a picnic and arrange a tour of Swellendam and its surrounding areas, where you can view a large array of flora and fauna, or go for a walk on one of the many breathtaking mountain trails. Horse riding, fishing, golf, watersports, a gym and nightlife are all in the immediate vicinity and worth staying a couple of days to experience. Swellendam is centrally situated between Cape Town and George, and allows guests a bundle of enjoyments from wine tasting to whale watching and swimming in the warm Indian Ocean at the southernmost tip of Africa.
