The stay at Kaapsepracht Bed and Breakfast was super. Very good location in Sommerset West, excellent room and garden and very friendly host-couple. We stayed at different guesthouses in Cape and Garden route. This was absolutely the best.
Perfect stay

I would come back again to Kaapse Pracht bed and breakfast. The rooms were very clean with everything you need for a perfect stay. The bathroom was amazing, best shower I'd seen in a long time! Never got to use the swimming pool as it was too cold but it was right on our doorstep.
10 out of 10

This B&B deserves a 10 out of 10! The owners Ine & Henk ensure that their guests are welcomed in a "homely" atmosphere while taking into account that every guest has their own way of wanting to feel comfortable. The rooms are nicely decorated with a hint of African Culture, the beds are perfect, spacious bathroom and most of all: this place is very clean. The guests are free to roam around the beautiful garden and enjoy the views up the hills towards Stellenbosh. Just grab a comfortable sun bed and find a nice spot under a tree or next to the pool. Easy parking on the drive and although you can not hear any traffic, the motorway is only a few minutes drive. From the B&B it is just an easy stroll to various nice restaurants in Somerset West. Ine and Henk will advise you the best places to visit around in the area. I can truly recommend this B&B to everyone that seeks a quiet and relaxing atmosphere with a luxury touch. For me this B&B is a good reason to plan my next trip to the Cape.

KaapsePracht Bed and Breakfast
KaapsePracht is a modern Dutch-owned B&B located in Somerset West, just 20 minutes from Cape Town international Airport. The guest house is situated in a tranquil residential area on the foothills of the Helderberg mountain, within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and the monthly art and craft market.

KaapsePracht is the perfect base for exploring the region and offers an in-house travel consultant who will be happy to organise day trips to the Winelands, a game of golf, whale watching in Hermanus, or anything else to make your stay a pleasant one.

We offer three luxury non-smoking guest rooms, each with king-size extra-length bed and en-suite bathroom with double shower and double basin. One of the rooms also features self-catering facilities. Each room boasts a private patio overlooking the swimming pool and lush garden, flat screen TV with DStv, Internet access, tea and coffee facilities, and secure parking. Breakfast is optional and can be served in the breakfast room or on the private patio.

The Cape region around Somerset West is one of the most exceptional and varied areas in the world, enjoying a Mediterranean climate with minimum rainfall. A fresh sea breeze makes hot summer days of over 30 degrees comfortable, and even on sunny winter days the temperature rises up to over 20 degrees. Throughout the year nature shows an abundance of colour and perfection, especially from September to October when the spring flowers seem to explode in a firework of colour.
