This place is perfectly located in the centre of George. Not having a car was not an issue at all, as we could just walk to a restaurant for dinner. Decor was beautiful and the place is very comfortable.

This Guest House was a great find. We were delighted by the friendly atmosphere which was underpinned by professionalism and attention to detail which is unsurpassed for accommodation in this category. The fact that this is a family-run concern where there is strong hands-on involvement by the proprietors explains the quality of the total experience. This is an establishment of international standard by any measure.
Lovely stay in George

My sister and I were suppose to drive down to Knysna from Gauteng, but due to some unforseen circumstances we had to fly down. But our place was only available from the 23rd and our flight was the 22nd. So we made a booking at 10 Caledon Street Guest House. The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious. Our host, Gerdy, was sooo nice and caring, she wasnt just the owner of the guest house, she made us feel like family. The breakfast was also delicious! So at the end of the day those \unforseen circumstances\" was actually a blessing

It was worth taking a break off season winter time especially given the fact that their hospitality is so top notch. To be honest the feeling was away but at home. It was more than what we expected. The host was very friendly accommodative as well. The guest house must get another star.
She have done enough to market the guest house by the service they offer. By word of mouth we will tell people about it was worth my money. I will use them again in future without a doubt. I could not find any wrong; the breakfast was one of the best I have for a while. Surely I will recommend them to my friends.

We stayed at this lovely guest house for six nights and enjoyed it very much. We were very well looked after and the hosts were most helpful. The place is spotless and very central. If we return to George in the future we definitely stay at this place again.

Perfect location in a beautiful house and an attentive host. Restaurants a stone's throw away and safe walking areas.

This establishment and its owners were so perfect, that it would be very hard
to find fault at all, and everything required for our holiday was in place from day one. Would highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

An excellent stay

We made a two-night stopover and wish we could have stayed longer; the accommodation in self-catering annexe was everything we hoped and more - well located, well equipped, very clean and more spacious than the impression from the internet. Sadly thunderstorms prevented full use of the private veranda overlooking the lovely garden and for exploring George more fully but hope we can return. Our hosts kindly made a booking for us at Campanina, a delightful Italian restaurant within walking distance. A friend had recommended it and we would too and we would certainly stay at 10 Caledon St. again.
