Great weekend with very friendly people
Laura Nougues - Friday, 22 December 2017
Had a lovely weekend at the Ross Ramos Lodge! Very friendly owners, and we felt at home as soon as we got there. It's a small little stroll to the town, but is perfectly fine to walk. The tents are extremely comfortable and get cleaned everyday.
Tried cancelling but no response
Varnika Nagpal - Sunday, 19 November 2017
I tried cancelling directly with the owner and also wrote to your website but did not receive any response from you. We could not visit due to VISA situation. The website also did not let the accomodation share any information with us before is paying even though the accessibility of this island is extremely poor. Horrible experience with safarinow. Will never us this website and will discourage others to do the same. This is my the worst booking experience ever.
Glamping at its Best

Glamping or Glamourous camping at its best. The camp is very clean and tidy. The host was friendly and helpfull. Will definetely consider visiting again.
Confortable but, little information
Marcela Baggio Emerenciano - Tuesday, 07 March 2017
It's a calm place, the tent was clean and the bed was confortable. Our fan/light was turning off by itself all the time so we had to call them to fix it several times. When we arrived there was very little explanation about how the place works, the energy turns off at night wich is really bad, when we woke up there was no one there, no water running (because the generators were off) we didn't know how to turn on the stove, and we couldn't use anything electric, also the fridges weren't cold so our food was not so good. We hired a guide to take us arround the island and they send him away, when we asked they said that that guide was not welcom there, but they haven't tolds us that and we kept waiting for the guide.
An escape to paradise

An unforgettable experience. Ross Ramos camp is beautifully set amongst coconut palm trees and right on a white sandy beach. The camp is very comfortable, clean and well maintained. We were made to feel at home as the boat touches the shore. It's the best accommodation we saw on the island. Beyond all our expectations. Lovely tents with full beds, bedding, shelves and fan. Despite being in the heat of summer we were cool at night. Well equipped kitchen. Daily excursions were awesome. Staff and local people were very friendly, always ready to help or give advice. Campfire was lovely right on the beach. Highly recommended.

Feels like home

We're students and wanted to have a beach holiday in between our road tripping. Besides the fact that inhaca is lovely, Fritz and Nola are so friendly. They helped us where they could and everybody else here is amazing, too. highly recommended, we would book the same again.

We spend 9 nights at Ramos Ram and were very happy there. Our host were very accommodating and were very quickly to make our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped, the ablutions were also clean and tidy and the staff were very trustworthy.
Great place, great people!
Patricia Nonaka, Brazil - Tuesday, 05 February 2013
I've spent only two days in the island and I'm amazed! Not only the beaches are beautiful, but the campus takes you into nature, at the same time makes you comfortable, with the very well equipped kitchen and structure! Nola and Fritz also helped us with many valuable tips on tours through the island! We had an amazing time!
Well organised

Nola and Fritz made us feel right at home. Our stay was truly enjoyable. Self catering in style as their staff took care of the dishes.
Lovely
Angela Theron, South Africa - Friday, 23 December 2011
The camp is lovely and staff were helpful and friendly. We loved our stay. We thought ideas on what to do with specific information on how to get it done would have been a useful addition. This would enhance the stay even more.
Enjoyable
Anna Gardelin, Mozambique - Friday, 29 July 2011
We really enjoyed our visit at Ramos Ram Campus. Service was excellent. Our hosts were kind, positive and helpful. The environment is beautiful and silent with a mangrove forest to explore and a beautiful beach. A lot of birds for birdwatchers to see. The camp was clean, the tents comfortable. We highly recommend this place.
Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at Ramos Ram Campus, the camp was lovely and clean and the hosts Nola and Fritz were so friendly and helpful - to all potential visitors you must be reminded to take along your own fresh meat and cheese.

Warm helpful people. Comfortable camp. Would definitely recommend a visit.
We had a family adventure!
Alison Zweers, South Africa - Tuesday, 06 April 2010
Nola and Fritz were fantastic. We arrived by plan (10 minutes flight) slightly unprepared for a self-catering holiday but made the best of it. Portuguese Island was hugely enjoyable - we spent a full day there. Snorkelling wasn't good besides for a starfish here and there but the water was temperate and visibility between 10-12 metres. The camp is extremely clean and very reasonably priced. We stayed in log cabins. We didn't spend much time in camp but when we were there we found it comfortable and the staff very friendly. We ate in the village at a restaurant called Lucas as well as at the Pestana Inhaca which I felt was overpriced and the meal extremely mediocre. Lucas saw us return quite a few times - the best pregos and prawns! The camp is within walking distance to Lucas and we used this as family bonding time! Advice to anyone going is to take enough meticais - no ATM on the Island and very few vendors with card facilities.
Ros Ramos Camp Inhaca
Anonymous, South Africa - Tuesday, 06 April 2010
The camp owners were very helpful and the campsite provides for most camping requirements. It is in the mangrove area of the island so be prepared to walk / taxi to the main swimming beaches. Remember it is a basic camp, not a lodge (which is also reflected in the price).
Best place on Inhaca
Quintus Horn, South Africa - Tuesday, 06 April 2010

Tumi Masikane, South Africa - Tuesday, 05 January 2010
It was superb!!! As a group of girls who just wanted to have fun, all of that was attained and Nola and Fritz made us feel at home, even going as far as preparing one meal for us because we were just too lazy! We were on holiday :-)!
Lekker gebly
Julie Cloete, Mozambique - Monday, 14 December 2009
Regtig baie lekker gebly, gasvryheid ken geen perke, kan enige een aanbeveel om by Nola hulle tuis te gaan. Tien uit tien vir netheid, gasvryheid & gerief. Baie dankie, Nola
Value for money
Koenie Van Koert, South Africa - Tuesday, 06 October 2009
Most enjoyable camp with the right atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying the island experience, The owner and partner were the best experienced of all the camps on the island and the reception and friendliness was outstanding. The whole experience of the camp was above average compared to our previous visit to the island.
Perfect getaway
Sean Low, South Africa - Monday, 21 September 2009
The experience was way beyond our expectation. Fritz and Nola were perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful. Their camp has everything one needs and is excellently presented with all the conveniences to make for a relaxing holiday. Highly recommended. We'll be back.
Ramos Ram Camous

Our stay was very pleasant. The Island was fantastic and the people on the island the friendliest, most trusting and helpful and we have ever met. Our accommodation was clean, neat and tidy and the ablutions spotless. Nola was very friendly and helpful. They could however give their guests more privacy and change the self catering arrangements.

Ramos Ram Campus is a great place to stay! Nola and Fritz are making you feel welcome the minute you get on the island! We had a wondeful and relaxing stay at Inhaca in an incredibly hospitable place, with very clean and nice rooms and everything you might need cooking wise (and even got served breakfast and dinner)! Thanks so much, and I hope to be back some day!
Fabulous
