It was very nice and very clean. I will definitely return to Franchamar and recommend it to my friends.

Dit was 'n fantastiese paar dae gewees. Die nabyheid van die wild was wonderlik. Die akkommodasie was gerieflik en netjies, en beslis nog 'n besoek werd. It was a fantastic few days' stay. The close proximity of the wild was wonderful. The accommodation was comfortable and neat, and definitely worth another visit.

Though we enjoyed our stay at Franchamar I have to say the service wasn't very good. You have to pay the deposit before getting the keys but if you leave there is no cash to return the deposit. I think it will be a better idea to pay the deposit in cash and get it back if you return the key.

Six of us went to stay at Franchamar. It was a family holiday with plenty of time in Kruger. Franchamar was wonderful we really had a great time, the personal visits by the Warthog and Zebra at the waterhole right outside the front door where a real highlight. Some attention needs to be paid to some of the smaller details in the house and kitchen but all in all a great time.

Thank you for keeping the place so wonderful and clean. The accommodation was superb and sleeping (4beds upstairs) was perfect for the children. We saw a big elephant herd and buffalos at the river on our first day. The zebras and warthog came straight up to us at the house, it was a wonderful experience to get so close to these animals. We wish we had booked another night. Thank you very much the the wonderful place and the very affordable accommodation. We will definitely use it again and recommend it to our friends. We had a great time at Franchamar. Very relaxing and enjoyed the warthogs that visited us every day. Definitely recommended to nature lovers!

The "Special" is definitely value for money. House was clean and the lay-out practical. Marloth Park is a great place to unwind and enjoy (and appreciate) nature and wildlife. Will recommend the place anytime.

We arrived in the evening to be greeted by warthogs, then went for a drink and meal at the restaurant. Heard lions, attacking, then humbling in the grass. Saw giraffe, zebra, buck, warthog etc. Stayed up all night, the view was breathtaking. the place was clean and neat when we got there and we encountered a couple of different insects ( aaaaaaaaaah). Next day went to Kruger park, WHAT AN EXPERIENCE, had to dodge elephants, came back to Franchamar and had a braai. I would recommend Franchamar to everyone. the service was 10 star. the home was 10 star. the view and animals were amazing. and we WILL BE BACK IN APRIL. you are gr8 thanks a million Natasha and friends.

Coming from a city environment the best part of the stay was the interaction you have with all the animals. The place was neat and well kept. I will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice relaxing holiday.

I don’t think I can enthuse enough about Franchamar! We booked a midweek break and the value was fantastic! Frans had organised that the prepaid electricity meter be loaded up before we arrived. We were met at the house by the security company with the keys, as well as a small heard of Kudu in the driveway! Later that evening we were visited by Warthog and Zebra! The accommodation was excellent, there are 8 beds, 2 and half bathrooms, air conditioning, DSTV a fully kitted kitchen, brick braai and of course the splash pool, which the kids loved! The proximity to the park is fantastic, really close, although the road is pretty rough! We saw an enormous amount of game (4 of the big 5). Marlroth park is great too, a restaurant two or three doors up, shops and petrol stations nearby. I even had a tyre repaired! I would (and have!) heartily recommend this venue, and will definitely be using it again in the near future! Thanks Frans, a really well appointed house/cottage!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Franchamar! Welcomed into clean, well kept house. Had everything we needed. The resident kudu & zebra & other animals were outstanding! It was a privilege to stay here, and, we will be back.

Saw the big five which was incredible, enjoyed the animals wondering around the grounds. The accommodation was superb. A convenience to have the shops close by.

The establishment is stunning. We really needed this breakaway from all the stress at work and what better place to be. We both are non smokers and forgot to take lighters for a braai on Friday night. The establishment even had matches which was so convenient and we also forgot to take sunlight liquid and the establishment even supplied that to us as well. We would really recommend this establishment to all my friends and colleagues. In my book this deserves 100% as a rating

I would just recommend that the place gets checked from top to bottom before guests arrive. I had to re-wash all pots and pans, I didn't even want to use some of them. We had a great stay otherwise. We would definitely be going there again.

WOW!! I would recommend Franchamar to anyone who enjoys wildlife and the beauty that the bushveld offers. We had a wonderful time. More than enough space for the whole family. Will make use of Franchamar again in the near future.

We had a very nice stay. We didn't see many animals. Place was neat and clean.

We had a fantastic time. On Saturday morning, much to the kids delight, the house was surrounded by very friendly Warthogs, and on Sunday we had Zebra, who were just as friendly, peering over the 'stoep'. The house and furnishings are in immaculate condition - very clean and neat - with everything you need. I would highly recommend this stunning house to anyone wanting to 'get away from it all'. Special thanks to Frans, Martie and Charmaine. We will definitely be back!
