With all Gods creation surounding you it was very piecefull and the nice conversation we had thank you to Ivan and Chantel for a great stay I would realy recomend anybody to go visit

Wow what an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I had the best weekend ever. The staff is very friendly, rooms are clean.

In all honesty (Please forgive what may look like negativity), on arrival we found that the our room did not have a fridge in that heat and on mentioning this to the owner, the response was that we did not request it (WOW!!!).. some of the cupboards could not open as a result of a stair case that was mounted by them. We woke up at 11 am and was told that the kitchen was closed for breakfast (WOW!!!) LOL!!!!. Window in the bathroom was broken, toilet top cover was cracked, an unknown insect bit my partner (What happened to installing insect repellents). The road to the lodge... safe to say that take a bakkie. On the positive side.. The spar treatment was perfect, I even fell asleep during the session and the ladies were friendly and cool with and they new exactly what they were doing. The scenery was magical as to be expected with the mountains in MP. I also built a very strong relationship with my partner, an experience of a life time.

Great little escape for me and my loved one. Perfect place to get away from the rush of the city. Well worth the visit. The food menu could do with some upgrading. 

The most relaxing getaway I have had in a long time. Dinner at the restaurant was healthy and prepared to perfection. The Spa is also a must for any visitor; the staff where so professional and the treatments where of the highest quality I have had (that being said after having the same treatment at a reputable hotel not more than two weeks ago). We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back in the near future.

Everything was satisfactory: the fire in the fireplace in the communal area was warm and welcoming; the dogs helping one to feel at home. The soup went down well.

the facility was clean but the grounds an units in need of maintenance. bathrooms are outdated and show wear and tear. the road leading to the resort was really rocky and should ideally be travelled by a bakkie or 4x4, not a VW Polo as i had. the resort is not "eco" in anyway. accommodation was overpriced for what you got. meals at restaurant are very limited, though the meal was very well prepared and fresh. the resort was not what i expected.

The place is beautiful, neat, quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed the environment, the food and the activities. I am already planning my next trip it is a great getaway.

Nestled in the mountains as it is, Bergwaters is a perfect place to relax and recharge. Our hosts were very accommodating and clearly enjoy relating to guests. The staff was very friendly and professional. The setting is absolutely beautiful and we were sorry that we arrived so late and had to leave the following morning as we would have loved to explore the surroundings even more.

Thanks it was a great weekend. The chalet was very very clean. The service excellent. The food very good. I will recommend this lodge to anyone and want to thank to host he went out of his way the keep us happy.

Their Motto of "Come as Guests and Leave as Friends" is certainly true. We had such a lovely time there. The spa treatments are top notch and you feel well loved and pampered after a treatment. I had fantastic service and really felt part of the family. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Bergwaters Eco Lodge & Spa whilst we were on honeymoon in South Africa. It was such a lovely location, nice and peaceful and the service was excellent. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We would love to come and stay again if we are in the area in the future. Many many thanks. The spa facilites were excellent too. Overall our experience was great and very good value for money.

We had a wonderful reception from Chantel & Iven. The settings were tremendous and the meal on Valentines day a delight with the room decorated out almost as if they were hosting a wedding. It was just what we needed after a long flight.

Our stay was wonderful, the owners was very frieindly, and we enjoy every second of the weekend. Food was brilliant, you can not get better as well as the service. Thanks for all the friendly faces.

We had a very comfortable stay here in the self contained unit. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The establishment is beautiful and our unit was private with a view over the river - stunning. The unit is looking a little tired but was comfortable and clean - the new owners are planning to renovate it soon. This lodge has loads of character and I would love to visit it again.

Thank you to Chris and Janine for being wonderful hosts. The place did not disappoint. It is really beautiful and soooo peaceful, the perfect setting for a restful retreat!
