Villa Victoria was a bit disappointing. They have sold it and it was not in the condition they advertise. Furniture missing and specifically a shortage of crockery. Eg no side plates. Definitely no lovely soaps and a bottle of welcoming wine. They should have reduced the rate

Nicely decorated and comfortable. Warm welcome. Very good value for money. B & B well located.

The entire stay was absolutely perfect! From the easiness of checking in to the attention to detail including chocolates on the pillows, decanters of complimentary Muscadel, a sewing kit, plasters, candles, and a spare toothbrush all set out in case we needed it. The breakfast the next day was delicious, tasty and filling. We'll definitely be back!

The cottage look and the serene atmosphere of the guest house is a haven for anyone wanting to escape the busy city life. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

As soon as we arrived I knew we would enjoy our stay. Villa Victoria is a beautiful old home in a lovely garden setting with pool, lapa for braais, space to relax, secure parking and space for a trailer if required. Louise welcomed my husband and I and showed us around. Our room was stunning, huge bed with a view looking out over the village, champagne in the ice bucket, flat screen Tv, gorgeous linen but the bathroom was the best. Wooden floors, Victorian bath, lovely fluffy towels and antique touches that complimented the Victorian theme. Louise recommended a great restaurant in town which we loved. In the morning we sat with the other guests around the dining room table swopping travel notes and recommendations and enjoyed a hearty breakfast. Many thanks to Louise who is friendly and warm and obviously enjoys hosting as this Bed and Breakfast rates 10/10 in my book.

My husband and I had a fantastic weekend away staying at the Villa Victoria. Louise and Keith were super friendly, all the rooms in the house are amazing with beautiful views. The house was sparkling clean! We would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Villa Victoria was absolutely amazing. We arrived on Friday afternoon, relaxed at the pool with some very tasty snacks provided by Louise. We were the only people there so she left us with the keys and we had the whole house to ourselves all weekend. Breakfast was done in the mornings (very tasty and ample!!) on the stoep at the back with the beautiful garden full of birdlife as our surroundings. Our stay was absolutely amazing - five star service and very friendly hosts. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay, despite the howling wind! The two rooms have been most beautifully appointed, everything any traveller could desire is provided, including a fridge with cold water, fresh milk for tea, Muscatel wine. On the verandah next morning, watching the exotic birds, breakfast was a delight too, with freshly-baked bread, perfectly cooked eggs, and fresh muffins to finish.

Five star accommodation and hosts. Yvonne and Keith made us most welcome - we were treated like members of the family. A delightful stay.

Beautifully furnished in an old country style, fantastic views of the countryside and warm friendliness from the hosts epitomised our brief but most enjoyable stay. Highly recommended to anyone anywhere near Montagu. Check out the view from the bath in the attic room!
