Good stay
Albert Bertels, Belgium - 05 March 2013
I was on holiday. Nice place to stay, I enjoyed the balcony. The apartment is properly furnished and clean. Quiet area. Restaurants, pubs and shops all around. Montecasino is 500 meters away. Easy to escape from town with the freeway N1 just nearbay. Few minors: there was only a bath in the apartment, no shower. And there was a problem with the television system in the building.
What you see is what you get!

My wife and I were very well received and were fetched by the owner after we got lost coming from the freeway. He took us to the Lodge and we were met by the rest of the family members. Very, very nice humble people. We were very impressed with the place and will recommend it to friends (one friend is graduating in September and would probably look for accommodation in Johannesburg). Thanks once again for your kind hospitality. You really made our stay enjoyable in a very quiet place. T hanks and all blessings.
Loved it!

Great location as central to Monte Casino complex, Fourways and Sandton business district.

Tamara Lodge JHB
Tamara Lodge JHB is situated in Sandton. Johannesburg is a booming city and the emphasis is on making money whether in business or on the streets, and has been since its beginnings when the world’s richest gold fields were discovered in Johannesburg.

The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed and there is a private bathroom. The living area is open-plan with a dining area, a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. We are situated within a safe complex and there is secure off-street parking.

Though not touted as an outdoor city, there are a number of parks and nature reserves such as the Emmarentia Dam and the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens which are worth a visit. The Magaliesberg is just on your doorstep and you’re extremely well placed for adventures a little further afield such as the Kruger National Park and the game parks of the Lowveld.
