About Mignon Bed and Breakfast

Sasolburg was established in the early 1950s and at that time provided housing for the South African Coal, Oil and Gas, also known as SASOL employees; now the area is home to many other companies and there is much more to Sasolburg than coal, oil and gas. The area offers many adventure and sport activities as well as local art and crafts. The fauna and flora is also abundant in Sasolburg, where bird lovers can enjoy bird watching at the Leeuwspruit Bird Park. I truly enjoyed the stay at Mignon. Peaceful, safe and close to sport and business facilities. The room was private and felt homely! Lovely place to stay!

We booked for 2 rooms for 2 people. When we arrived only 1 room was booked and they did not have a room available for me so the owner arranged for me to stay at a BNB down the road.My work Colleague was not happy with the sleeping conditions, she phoned me in the middle of the night telling me there were bugs crawling on her and she hardly slept. She was not happy at all.

Thank you for a wonderful experience during our stay at the Mignon Bed and Breakfast. The service was excellent and friendly help was available at all times. Our needs were catered for and the food was above standard.Thank you so much. We will definitely visit again when we are in the Sasolburg area.

We stayed at Mignon's only one night but were pleasantly surprised by the quaint room and surroundings. We also received a special treat from the owner as she was aware of the reason for our visit - a walk down memory lane in the town where we grew up and met each other. For that I can only give Mignon's five stars and a huge thank you!

Staying here was very nice. The service was good and everything I needed, like an ironing board, was available. It was quiet with a nice garden. The directions were excellent and I was welcomed warmly.
