We loved the setting and comfort of a well designed cabin., There is lots to do at Stanford Lake Lodge but we chose to re-collect our thoughts as our youngest son had passed away on the 9th of January after his battle with Cancer and we needed time to grieve. It was the perfect setting & hope to go back and visit again..........

My friends and I stayed in the single story cabin in December 2021. We had rain and mist for most of the four days and it was enjoyable to make fire in the log cabin. Looking forward to our next stay.

We really enjoyed the beautiful setting, and appreciated the fire-place! Unfortunately, despite a detailed email, there were also 17 noticed on the walls of the cabin. This seemed excesive and took away some of the charm and comfort. Perhaps these could be placed in an information booklet, instead of over every wall.

What a beautiful place. Never saw other humans. Totally worth it, but take lots of drinking water with as water is unfiltered lake water. We will return.
