GUERNSEY BREAKAWAY CHALETS PROPERTY DESCRIPTION Upon entering guests drive directly to the Main residence for check in. Check in time: 13h00 – 14h00 Check out time: 10h00 Gate open: 06h00Gate close: 18h00Arrangements can be made telephonically for the gate to be opened earlier / later. • On check out guests can leave keys in key box next to the entrance gate of the chaletsProperty: On 54ha land we have a free range piggery on the western side of the property all together 20ha . As you enter the property you see the sign board at the farm shop and when you enter the main residence the same sign repeats itself.On the right to the eastern side towards the Kruger national park are the 5 self catering chalets that is a 200m from the main residence and which means that our house is in the middle of the property.The whole 54ha are surrounded by 3 Big5 Private Game Reserves. Guests will be able to enjoy the rich sounds of night animals. Chalets positions: 2 CHALETSNearest to our homestead some 200metres away are the first 2x chalets. It is one big building divided in 2 fully equipped chalets and overlooking a dam. 2 different families can be accommodated in these chalets and still be private OR when families or friends book both chalets as most of the time we unlock an adjacent middle door for their convenience.Sleep: Both chalets are identical – bedroom: 1x double bed and a single bed with bathroom, no bath but shower, toilet and wash basin. Cold/hot water. We supply the linen and towels, toilet paper and spray and amenity soap the first day. Bedroom is Air-conditioned.Upon entering these chalets, the living area has a sleeper couch, table and chairs with open kitchen. Each kitchen are equipped with fridge/2plate stove with oven/kettle/toaster and microwave and fan. Washbasin and cloths etc. In the cupboards below are dishes/cutlery/glasses/plates/pots and pans. On the table top is a tray with mugs for coffee/tea and complimentary milk/coffee/sugar.On the veranda there are chairs and a table. In the lapa for barbeques are chairs and a Grid for braai. 3 CHALETSThese 3 self catering chalets are a 100m apart from the first 2 chaletsClose by 2 smaller damsEach built on the same principal & identical equipped as first 2 chalets described above, BUT 30m apart from each otherSleep: Chalets are identical – bedroom: 1x double bed and a single bed with bathroom, no bath but shower, toilet and wash basin. Cold/hot water. We supply the linen and towels, toilet paper and spray and amenity soap the first day. The barbeque areas are cleaned daily as well.Extra: A farm shop sells wood, ice, cool drinks, bread etc.Swimming pool: By the main residence in front of the house facing the chalets and walking distanceActivities:Small playground for children Fishing: Bass, Breem, Walking is free on the property and safe. Animals: Nyala, Reedbuck, Bushbuck, Blue wildebeest, Giraffe, Duiker, Warthog. The clients walk on their own risk and we haven’t had one accident or anything funny happen to anyone in 10 years.Guests also sometimes request to walk around the pig camps especially with small children (more from the big cities) It’s safe to walk there accompanied by their parentsParking:Shade netSecurity: Main gate locked at night. Property high fencing.Not included:• No credit card facilities• Guest needs to bring their own swimming towels, Fishing gear/rods and Barbeque Roster Nearby Attractions:Situated close by activities in the surrounding area of which Hoedspruit Endangered Species project, Moholoholo Rehabilitation centre, Blyde Boat Cruise, Kruger National park (Orpen gate closest), restaurants and tea gardens all in a range of 16km to 45km. Closest town is Hoedspruit 35km with 3 different banks and shopping centres.
