Doringbos is a fully equipped, authentic thatched house that offers an unforgettable getaway in Big 5 country. It is nestled in 4000 hectares of South African bush where animals roam freely. The property is located within five minutes walking distance of the Crocodile River that offers a magnificent view into the world famous Kruger National Park.

Safari: Wildlife roam freely through the conservancy which borders the Kruger National Park.

All of Doringbos rates are quoted in South African Rand unless otherwise stated. Once a guest has checked in at Doringbos, there is no refund of the booking fees whatsoever to guests or their agents or tour operators who made the booking.  We recommend that you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.  If you wish to change to an alternate date and your booking has already been confirmed, you may do so subject to availability.  However, should a transfer be made three weeks prior to travel, cancellation fees will apply if your length of stay is reduced.  All reservations are made on the express condition that Doringbos, its owners and agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage or accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his luggage or other property.  Doringbos and its owners accept no liability for any injury, loss, accident delay or any other irregularity howsoever occasioned.

Great family cottage. The kids loved watching the animals pass by. Also the walk to the border fence is quite short and it was really exciting to see the animals in the Kruger Park, with something new every day.Great Place, and well worth it.

Very basic,but good! Just slept there, spent the days at Ngwenya Lodge breakfast lunch and supper.Superb view of the river and Kruger National Park. DORINGBOS WOULD BE GREAT IF NOT AS DRY.

We stayed for 4 nights. excellent, nice and quite , peaceful, more than enough space for a small family. would recommend it anytime!
