About Gharagab Wilderness Camp Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park SANParks

The camp has four LC2 Log Cabin units. Each unit has two single beds, a bathroom with a shower, an equipped kitchen with a gas fridge and freezer, solar power for lights, gas for hot water and braai facilities on a deck.

Public Booking Rules:
This applies/will apply to all public, international and donor (non-quota) bookings made at Central Reservations, Satellite Offices and at the camp.

The first deposit will increase to 50% and be payable 30 days after making booking and the final 50% to be brought forward and payable at 60 days before arrival.

Furthermore, the right to extend deposit due date by every staff member with access to RoomSeeker will be taken away and be restricted to few nominated people at H/O Central Reservations.

Travel Trade Booking Rules:

This applies/will apply to all travel trade bookings made by registered tour operators where less than nine units are requested per reservation.

Reservations made longer than 6 months (181 days) up to a year in advance, a 50% first deposit will be introduced and be payable at 120 days after making the booking and the final 50% to be payable at 45 days before arrival.

Reservations made within 6 months (180 days) of arrival, a 50% first deposit will be payable at 14 days after reservation is made and the final 50% before 45 days of arrival.
No cancellation fee will be incurred for cancellations made after payment of first deposit up to and including 46 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation fees equal to 50% of the total reservation cost is payable in a case of cancellation made between 45 days and 30 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total reservation cost is payable in a case of a cancellation made between 29 days prior to and date of arrival

100% of the total cost for any non-arrival/no-shows

Reservation made within 45 days prior to arrival is payable within 24 hours from the day reservation is made.

Only credit card payments are accepted for reservations made within 4 days of arrival.

TT Groups and Conferences:

TT Groups and conferences are bookings done by Travel Trade where 10 units or more are required for the reservation made.

Reservations that are made more 6 months (180 days) up to a year in advance, the 50% first deposit is payable at 120 days after making booking and the final 50% to be brought forward and made payable at 60 days before arrival.

Please note that the rates displayed are for two/four guests and that the rates are subject to the number of guests as well as children staying, hence we advise guests to request the appropriate tariffs.
