About Cornerstone Guest House
Cornerstone Guest House is a small, private and peaceful bed and breakfast within easy walking distance to the sea and the town centre of Swakopmund on Namibia's fascinating Skeleton Coast. Occupying a quiet corner of Swakopmund's old town near the marine museum and the old brewery, within a few minutes from the guest house, guests can walk to beaches, cafés, restaurants, lively pubs, Swakopmund tourist attractions, and a variety of interesting shops and markets in the town.
Bed and breakfast accommodation is offered in seven double or twin rooms, each with a private entrance and patio with a table and chairs. Inside, the rooms are light, spacious and neat with tile and wood floors, beach house colours and a choice of double or twin beds.
All rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a large solar-assisted shower and modern fittings. Room facilities include a wall-mounted LCD flat-screen satellite TV, mini fridge, kettle with complimentary tea-and-coffee, outside entrance and private patio, digital safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board on request, international wall sockets, and free wireless Internet access.
The breakfast room at Cornerstone Guest House is large, light and airy. Guests can sit on the veranda on warm days or inside at individual tables. We offer an inclusive breakfast with a fresh selection of fruits, juices, yoghurts, breads, preserves, and eggs and bacon cooked to order. Wash that all down with our freshly brewed coffee or choice of tea and you'll be ready to explore the attractions of Swakopmund and the Skeleton Coast.
Facilities and services include same-day laundry service, airport transfers, a lounge area with satellite TV, private garden, secure off-street parking, activities and dining booking service, and wireless Internet throughout the guest house.
Situated on the corner of Rhode Allee and Hendrik Witbooi, Cornerstone Guest House is within earshot of the Atlantic Ocean, and just 500 m from the Marine Museum and the delightful Tug Seafood Restaurant, both overlooking the sea. We are also close to the town centre, where a safe two-minute walk takes you to several bistros, curio shops, craft markets, galleries, museums, shops and amenities.
Swakopmund is a small town with charming neo-Gothic German architecture located on the Skeleton Coast. The town is 30 km north of the port city of Walvis Bay and 70 km south of the fishing village of Henties Bay. It is an essential stopover en route north or south between Etosha and Sossusvlei.
