This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I would have been willing to overlook the falling down curtains, the sheets that smelled of stale cigarettes, the lack of hairdryer in my bedroom, the cheap shampoo that didn't lather, the chipped and cheap furniture and the aircon that didn't work. What cannot be overlooked is the fact that the hotel is directly opposite a nightclub which (even on a Monday night) plays booming music until 2:30am. The windows in my room were single glazed and the noise from the club was so loud it was impossible to hear the television in my room. Needless to say,...

We had a great time staying at the Urban Chic Hotel in Long street. You will not get better views of Table Mountain from the massive windows in each room. It was so nice to be able to open our huge windows to hear the vibe of Long street just below us.... and what a vibe! You feel like you are in the soul of the city. The room was decorated beautifully with one of the most comfortable king size beds I have ever slept in. We had a delicious breakfast in the hotel the next morning. It was a highly enjoyable experience being seated in the sun room, which hangs over the pavement below. We...

The location is fantastic for those who love the nightlife! The only inconvenience was the noise that comes from the bars below Urban Chic.

Even if I think its just a LITTLE overpriced I would certainly recommend it to anyone who likes style, comfort and contemporary decor. The hotel is close to almost every place you want to see, expect of course beaches.Breakfast is great and included in the rate.People are very smiley, and helpful nothing to worry about.

The rooms have great view of the Table Mountain and Lion's Head, especially on the corner. All of the staff were friendly with full of hospitality. Breakfast, not only the cold buffet but also the warm dishes right from the kitchen, was also great to start the peaceful day. Room was clean and well designed, and had sufficient space to relax. We would like to come back to this hotel for the next chance to come to Cape Town.
