The restaurant offers fresh seafood and seasonal dishes. Guests are welcomed to choose from a variety of delicious dishes and on request dinner will be served on the beach.

Mike offers shuttle services to most cities in Kenya and Tanzania. As well as trips to the close by sandbanks for snorkelling, guided tours through Pangani or a safari to the Saadani National Park, where if you’re lucky you can see elephants wade into the Indian Ocean.

Mike's Beach Cottages are a short fifteen minutes south of Pangani. This small historic Swahili town is well-known for its intricate history. Here slave trade was banned by the British in 1873, and later in 1888 the town was to become the center of an armed movement that fended off the German expeditionary forces.

It is only after receiving your transfer that we can confirm your reservations thank you for your understanding. Payment of the deposit indicates acceptance of Mikes Beach Cottages’ terms and conditions.

We may accommodate children under the age of seven, as long as the parents or guardians accept full responsibility for their care and supervision while at Mikes Beach Cottages.

Mikes Beach Cottages does everything it can to ensure that clients have a full and fascinating, enjoyable experience in Pangani, Tanzania.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

East Africa is one of the safest places to travel in. The people are generally warm and very welcoming and interested in visitors. However, every country has thieves and clients should follow the usual commonsense precautions, which apply anywhere in the world, to secure their property and themselves. In particular at night, clients should not visit anywhere without first having checked and informing onsite personnel.

Mikes Beach Cottages has a good security regime in place. Mobile telephone reception is good for use in emergencies.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

To secure reservation 50% of total cost of the stay is payable within 14 days of booking.
Full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Fees:
Up to 60 days before arrival 25% (Booking Fee) is forfeited
59 – 35 days before arrival 50% (Booking Fee) is forfeited
34 – 15 days before arrival 100% (Booking Fee) is forfeited

Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to changes beyond our control such as, but not limited to increases in statutory taxes.

It is the Clients’ responsibility that the net invoiced amount is transferred into Mikes Beach Cottages’ Bank account. Mikes Beach Cottages shall not accept any Bank charges.There is no refund for unused services once the stay has commenced.
