About Wildthingz Lodge

Enjoy an exhilarating array of adventures on our wildlife conservancy, whether it is just for the day or a relaxed weekend away. Activities include quad biking, guided bush walks, camel rides, lion walks, game drives, birding and clay pigeon shooting. Our quad biking offers a journey through the conservancy, which includes a natural quarry and plenty of game viewing. Or opt for the guided night ride. Our vehicle is fitted with spotlights so you can view the nocturnal wildlife, including the elusive aardvark and witty badger. For a once in a lifetime experience, spoil yourself and take an intimate walk with our majestic lions, or enjoy a picnic in their company. A horse ride through our conservancy affords you the opportunity to blend in and get up close to our towering giraffe, zebra, waterbuck or herd of impala, to mention just a few.

Safari: Our activities all aim to ignite your wild side, which include: Walking with Lions, Cheetah Run, Guided Walks, Quad Biking, Horse Riding, Game Drives, Bird Watching and more.

Golf: 9 hole golf course within our conservancy

Conference Venues: Our facilities for small conferences or meetings can accommodate a maximum of about fifteen people. We provide a range of snacks and refreshments throughout as standard and can arrange for a full catering service on request.

Family friendly: The lodges consist of a master bedroom, with DSTV and a luxurious queen size bed and a second bedroom with three single beds for the kids. Each room has a large glass sliding door, looking out onto the natural habitat.

Romantic: We offer five private self-catering lodges, overlooking a natural riverbed, you can expect to come across a variety of wildlife and bird species, including predators such as antelopes ranging from Impala and Zebra to Giraffe.

So, first things first. Booking accommodation at the Lodge was quick, simple and pleasant. The Lodge itself is situated within a larger wildlife conservancy area. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly and helpful security guard from which we received an entry tag for the duration of our stay. The actual (dirt) road to the Lodge was a little confusing, however we immediately found ourselves driving past a variety of wildlife (giraffe, waterbuck, impala, springbuck, etc). Friendly manager, easy to find just of main road, clean well equipped accommodation. On reserve so animals about and we saw the lions out for their morning walk!

We enjoyed our stay immensely,Kerry being a very helpful host. The chalets ate spacious,2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms etc.We did not take on the Walk with the Lions experience.Overall my wife and I were very happy to stay en the extra day.
