About Vulture Creek

Vulture Creek is a charming lodge with three, two bedroom self-catering cottages and five two sleeper en-suite self catering cottages, situated in Skeerpoort, approximately 60 minutes’ drive from Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport.

Situated west of Hartbeespoort Dam with its many quaint tourist attractions, it is an ideal weekend getaway spot while enjoying the nearby sceneries around the dam. The cottage is also close to the acclaimed Chameleon Village and all its fine African crafts as well as the Hartbeespoort cableway.

Enjoy a leisurely stay in the peaceful South African bushveld. The self-catering cottage is situated on a small-holding offering river frontage, tranquil beauty and an abundance of bird life. Come and relax in the beloved bushveld with indigenous trees surrounding the property and a magnificent view of the Magaliesberg mountain range while watching the African sunset.

                                  The rooms are very small and it is uncomfortable with the joining door between 2 rooms. The rooms lack privacy.

                                  The outside is very welcoming but the inside the room was very Dirty beding not changed Smell unbearable everything was just a mess, Called the manager to come and have a look, Overall was holiday was not pleasant had to do Spring cleaning as if was in my house for us to be able to sleep have pictures to prove the dirty Ness of the place it is on another level I'm sorry

                                  Upon arrival was told I will find someone to help me check in but (no welcome)got lost looking for the chalet , the house was dirty, dust on the couch insects, Spider all over ..no air conditioning or tv at the facility, roof leaking it was just a disaster I was just happy to have a roof over my head in the morning there was no electricity it looked like I was not sanitized I wouldn't recommend it to anyone it was not eat I saw on internet when I made bookings I regret spending my money there.

                                  Beds comfortable. Roof leaked, no welcome, no power in morning, noisy neighbours, poor lighting, nothing like the photo. Thank heavens we only needed one night here.
