Comfortable and well equipped apart from no frying pan or sharp knives. Hosts very hospitable, make you feel at home. Didn't stay long enough to explore but would definitely stay there again. Two beautiful Bouviers kept us company. Despite loadshedding, mobile data still worked. Wood and braai grid provided.

Very pretty farm buildings. The accommodation is quite rudimentary, but clean and comfortable. Very welcoming owner and two Bouvié dogs. The farm is quite close to the main road through De Rust, so there's a bit of traffic noise during the day. Quiet after hours.

The family were most welcoming. Everything was neat and clean. Loved the history of the farm and architecture of the buildings. There's a beautiful hike to do and really loved the 3 dogs. It felt like home and we will definitely go back there again.
