Located 10 km north of Vilanculo village, Villas do Indico is nestled on the white sands of Bazaruto Archipelago, a protected marine park. With exclusive facilities of 10 Deluxe Suites, three Expedition Bungalows and 10 Overland Camping Spots, and two self catering units. We provide a personalized service which with a blend of modern comfort and traditional Mozambique hospitality. And you will be on the beach!
The thatched bungalows on the beachfront are charmingly decorated within European parameters, in terms of comfort, and blended with elements from African cultural influence resulting in a comfortable natural environment.
As you will discover, Villas do Indico beach is laden with amazing white sand lapped by the gentle turquoise waters, beautiful reefs and amazing marine life. The ocean offers splendid opportunities for all kind of water sports such as diving, snorkelling and sailing in a Dhow, fishing as well as splendid opportunities to see dolphins, mantas, turtles, the endangered dugong and, from July to October, humpback whales and whale sharks.
The surrounding area, untouched by humans, is great for hiking and horseback riding and the extensive inter-tidal sandbanks are exceptionally favourable for bird spotters. Located only a 20-minute drive from Vilanculos International Airport, our lodge can only be reached in a 4x4 vehicle. In the case where you arrive by plane, we will organize your transfer.
