About Under Elm Trees Guest House

Enjoy a stay in pleasant, luxurious double en-suite rooms surrounded by beautiful elm trees and gardens. Under Elm Trees Guest House is located in Bethal in the Mpumalanga Province and is part of a beautiful farming community. Bethal derives its name of parts of the names of Elizabeth du Plooy and Alida Naude, who were sisters and the wives of the owners of the farm on which the town was proclaimed.

Accommodation is offered in double en-suite rooms. Each room pays tribute to great and famous people who left their everlasting and unique mark in the history of mankind and is equipped with modern little pleasures. All of the rooms feature hairdryers, a TV with DStv, bar fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, and uncapped wireless Internet.

The rooms are serviced daily, and continental breakfasts and home-cooked dinners are available on request. Secure parking is provided, private barbecue facilities are available, and a laundry service and fax and print facilities are available on request. We will go out of our way to make your stay as uncomplicated and relaxed as possible.

We had a horrible night, a company erected a tent in front of our room through most of the night, trucks driving up and down fell asleep at 2 o clock because of pure exhaustion with extreme noice still continuing, no apologies from management, never ever again, Charles and Mel

We came through Bethal on our way from Johannesburg to the Hluhluwe Park and stayed at the Under Elm Tree Guest House for one night. The room was clean and nicely furnished, also diner and breakfast were very good. Our landlady was very open and interested and made our stay as comfortable as possible!
