We stayed at the lodge on Xmas eve. The cabin itself was okay. Everything is squashed into one small cabin and I'm not sure why the lodge is so pricey..we found it an average place. It's just in a forest nothing wow about it.

Update and upgrade furnishings and curtains. All dated. New linen desperately needed. We stayed in honeymoon suite and the sheets are washed out and paper thin.

FYI - I booked and paid for a DBB night. However, the booking went through to the Lodge as just B&B. I only had my booking confirmation number with me so could not prove that I had booked for DBB on the day. The young lady at reception, in the absence of the GM, took my word for it and allowed us to have dinner on the evening. Not sure if this technical glitch has happened before but the young lady at Tsitsikamma Lodge, Ferosha (I think her name was), and Brandon, made sure my stay at the Lodge was not spoilt. Thank you. If it wasn't for the traffic noise from the N2, the Lodge would be 120%.

The place is neat, the bed is comfortable and the spa bath is a treat. I'll go back.

Admin and management friendly but restaurantstaff needs to step it up as it does not seem that they  have much training in hospitality. Had bad experience in trying to order some toasted sandwiches for lunch.  Limited activities for children under 10.
