We arrived with the clouds so low we could see only about ten metres ahead. Our cottage Pear was lovely and warmed by an oil heater and wood stove. Supper in the restaurant in front of a roaring fire soothed my soul. The next day the sun came out to chase the clouds away and revealed a spectacular view. The Edge is an amazing place to stay.

We absolutely loved everything. The room, the view, the fire place, the little bit of snow still on the grass in the shade of the trees, the cold, the food and the people. If you want to do soul searching and find inner peace this is the place to go.
