Important Information

TERMS and CONDITIONS of RENTAL:
Upon paying the deposit, you acknowledge all the terms and conditions set out.

PAYMENT:
EFT or Cash payments. ********NO Credit Card Facilities available********
******Provide a copy of Banking Details and ID document********

DEPOSIT:
Your 25% deposit secures the PROVISIONAL booking. The booking is only confirmed once the FULL amount is received
BALANCE:
Outstanding BALANCE must be paid 30 DAYS before booking date( Directly to the establishment)

BREAKAGE and KEY DEPOSIT (refundable):
R1000 to be paid 7 days before Check- In and refunded 7 working days after Check- Out once the house has been inspected and found in order. This deposit or a portion thereof will be retained and additional charges can be imposed if:
* More guests than booked are using the house .
* The house is left in an unsatisfactory state which includes an excessively dirty house including the linen which
requires extra cleaning.
Please furnish your BANKING details and a copy of your ID when paying the deposit.

CHILD POLICY : Under the age of 2 is free IF the child is NOT using their own bed.

PET DEPOSIT (non -refundable): R200 per pet to be paid 7 DAYS before Check-In.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY.
Booking Cancellation has to be confirmed in writing . Please expect a reply in writing.

* 31 days or more - Full Refund
* 30 to 22 days - 80 % of total paid
* 21 to 16 days - 50 % of total paid
* 15 to 8 days - 25% of total paid
* 7 days before check-in - NO REFUND
(The policy is flexible and can change depending on the Booking Season) .

CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE:
You will be provided with the contact details of the person for the procedure. If alternate arrangements are necessary, please contact them directly.

Check-in 14h00 to 18h00 . Check-out 10h00 ( These times may change depending on the booking season)
*******A SURCHARGE of R200 per hour is applied to Check -out. *****

EXCESSIVE NOISE and UNRULY BEHAVIOUR:
NO parties or weddings are permitted. Please be respectful of the surrounding guests and residents. Area Noise By-laws apply. From 22h00, it is expected that guests will be reasonably quiet.

SECURITY:
Although you are on holiday, please apply the same amount of care to avoid opportunistic crime. We recommend that guests NOT buy crayfish or crafts from vendors coming to the house. Rather go and find the sellers in the town.

INDEMNITY:
The proprietor and/or manager of THE RED DOOR shall not be liable for any personal loss or injury or material loss or damage that guests may incur by the use of the establishment or it's amenities.


THE RED DOOR reserves the right to cancel and refund a booking OR move guests to similar alternative accommodation if a situation arises which is beyond our control.
