Thatchview consists 4 lovely self-catering units that are centrally situated in the village of Hartbeespoort in the Maglies Mountains, offering a 360-degree view of the pure mountain and Hartbeespoort Dam.Studio UnitsEach unit can accommodate up to a maximum of two guests on a queen-size bed and a sleeper couch. The kitchens are fully equipped with full stove and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, cutlery, pots and a pan, while the comfortable living room area features a TV with DStv and a DVD player. The en-suite bathroom contains a shower, and linen. The units offers a private entrance, an outdoor braai area and safe off-street parking.Queen and King Twin UnitsEach unit can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 guests on a queen-size bed x 2 rooms.                   We loved the view, but missed a couple of comfort items in the unit that we occupied, e.g. a mirror in the bathroom, bed lamps, and an aircon. We also think that we would have enjoyed some of the higher units better, as we had very little privacy on the ground floor. Our unit looked out on the parking area and if one opened the curtains (ceiling to floor), everyone who walked past could see directly into our room and bed.

                  Bit more privacy interms of a blind on dinning room window would have made us feel more comfortable. Kitchen cutlery and crockery and utensils are very minimal... need to wash dishes often as only 4 mugs and plates, provide... no mop or broom provide when we messed milk we had to use bathroom towels.

                  My friends and i loved our stay at Thatchview!Frans is a great host, even though he could not be there on our arrival he ensured Fari was there and we received a warm welcome from Fari.The place is super clean and the view from our suite is breathtaking!I could go on and on about the views :-) All in all the place and the host are amazing and would definitely recommed the place .
