About Sunset Splendour
Sunset Splendour is an owner-run holiday accommodation business and is situated on an acre in rural Noordhoek between two oceans, yet within easy reach of all major tourist attractions. Sunset Splendour is currently undergoing major renovations. The main picture is the New Sunset Splendour view from the garden. Updated pictures will be posted regularly. Noordhoek is a suburb of Cape Town, South Africa, located below Chapman’s Peak on the west coast of the Cape Peninsula, approximately thirty kilometres to the south of the city itself. The name "Noordhoek" was taken from Dutch and literally means "north corner". It is best known for its picturesque shoreline and its long, wide, sandy beach, which stretches south to the neighbouring village of Kommetjie. Noordhoek is a small scattered community of nice houses, often with sea views and has a large horse population as riding on the long sandy beach is a great attraction. Sunset Splendour’s apartments have been custom built with the tourist in mind and offer the following: • Separate entrances • All rooms feature sliding doors to private patios • Under cover braai/barbeque facilities in the garden • Main bedroom, shower en suite • Each unit contains a colour TV with DSTV (guesthouse bouquet) • Modern kitchenettes with microwave oven, induction stove, fridge/freezer, kettle, cutlery etc. • Property is fully fenced with automatic security gate • Secure off-road parking • Rooms serviced on weekdays • Free Wi-Fi access • Large enclosed swimming pool Sunset Splendour has four apartments with separate entrances. Each apartment is equipped with all the necessary glassware, crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment a family would normally need for an enjoyable stay. It is a five-minute drive from the beautiful Noordhoek beach and Chapman's Peak Drive on the Atlantic coast. It is also a five-minute drive to Fish Hoek beach in False Bay, a more protected beach that is great for swimming. Three minutes down the road is Noordhoek Farm Village, a quaint shopping and craft village with great restaurants and a play area for kids. Noordhoek is situated half-way between Cape Town and Cape Point, so it is perfectly situated for scenic Cape Peninsula outings.
