About Sunny Lane

Consisting of two elegant suites, Sunny Lane is situated in the heart of Franschhoek village and is within walking distance of top restaurants, art galleries, and craft markets.

The larger apartment comprises a lounge and open-plan kitchen, plus double bedroom with full en-suite bathroom, while the smaller unit comprises a double bedroom with a kitchenette and bathroom with shower.

Both suites are simply but elegantly furnished, and are fully-equipped with white cotton linen, towels, and televisions with M-Net. In the winter, underfloor heating will keep you warm. Each suite also has a patio, overlooking a beautiful swimming pool.

Sunny Lane suites are an extension of our family home, but they are completely separate with their own private entrance. Simply park next to the green gate, and walk down the lavender-lined lane to meet your hosts, Pete and Barbara Hathorn. We are strictly a non-smoking establishment.

          What a beautiful accommodation. It was filled with the smell of Jasmine and lavender. The studio was small but comfortable and clean. All we needed was in the flatlets and it was private. The swimming pool was lovely and also private. We loved the relaxation and the area. Barbara was a lovely host and gave us privacy to enjoy our stay.

          Barbara has thought of everything when she kitted out this cottage including but not limited to a gas heater that came into much use for our cold wet weekend in Franschhoek.We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sunny Lane which was very comfortable throughout and in close proximity to the town centre.           Unit was clean. Everything that was needed was found in the cupboard. Room could do with small rugs either side of the bed. Weather was icy cold which made the floor even colder. Babara the perfect hostess. Thanks for the use of the garage.

          What an amazing stay, perfect for a weekend getaway! A cute little place that gives you everything you need and more. All the staff are extremely friendly and incredibly helpful. The cherry on top of the cake is that you are in walking distance from everything in Franschhoek! Cant recommend this place more, will definitely be back with friends!
