About Stone House
Queenstown itself lies at the foot of the Hangklip Mountain and it is here that guests will find Stone House.
The house offers six en-suite rooms. Four of the rooms offer comfortable double beds, while the others have two single beds each. The en-suite bathrooms consist of baths or showers. All of the rooms are equipped with TVs with DStv, heaters and tea and coffee facilities, and some rooms have air-conditioning while the others have fans.
Guests can enjoy their meals in the dining room, relax around the swimming pool or make use of the outdoor braai area. Stone House is close to the Frontier Hospital as well as the train station, and the town is only a short walk away.
Queenstown offers walking trails, hiking, climbing, fishing, mountain biking, canoeing and much more. The Bongola Dam is ideal for a day out for picnics and water sports, and guests can visit the Valley Of Desolation. The Lawrence de Lange Nature Reserve is on the slopes of the Madeira Mountain and it has a number of trails worth exploring. There are spectacular plants and an array of different antelope.
