Stanford, known for its Old World charm with period houses and wide streets, is the birdwatching capital of the Overberg. Experience the awe-inspiring sight of feathery creatures congregating along the shores of the Klein River and in the indigenous Cape fynbos that envelops the village.

Indulge your taste buds in our unique tasting room, housed in a quaintly restored laborer's cottage. With a large grassed area and a children's playground, complete with a trampoline, jungle gym, and swing, you can relax and enjoy the panoramic views over the dam as you savor a bottle or two from our award-winning range of wines. Open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch, you can choose from our chalkboard menu or create your own picnic.

Please note that all our accommodations require a minimum stay of two nights. For single-night stays, there will be a supplementary charge of 50% per cottage.
