Thanks to everybody who made us feel at home. The lodge is a very good place to stay. Peaceful and quiet with a beautiful garden and swimming pool with braai facilities. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Well done to Deon and Celest. We would like to spent more time with them if in Somerset East again.

Basic accomodation, but everything necessary for a comfortable overnight stay.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this B&B. The room had no window so was stuffy and it is very old and shabby. They don't even supply a little soap. I actually thought it was a bit of a dump. The view of the garden is misleading as the rest of the place is very DIY but badly done. The door to our room looked like a door to a shed and it didn't fit the doorframe so the light from outside shone through all night. Outside the room was a sheet of corrugated roofing and as it was raining the water dripped noisely on the roof all night.Establishment Response:This is a very unfortunate situation and...
