Very basic accommodation. Needs TLC! Our room had a tap without a handle this we couldn't open the cold water...you have to use the shower tap to brush your teeth. Before 6am the water is cold, so you have a cold shower. The aircon is noisy but it does the job cause the area is very hot.The bed was very comfortable.

It was good enough for us to stay two nights. Room was clean. Would suggest more crockery in the kitchen. We had one dinner plate for 2 people. The rest was adequate.

Our experience at Shemula lodge was horrific.  The room was dirty with dead flies and cockroaches in the bathroom, sticky little stove, curtains that were falling off the rails, a aircon that had to be turned on nod off at the back of the building outside, the verandah ceiling had a huge broken gap, no chairs to sit on and no glasses.  This place needs to be taken off your books.  The whole place is dirty and unkept.

We stayed 4 nights at Shemula Logde. It's not very luxurious accommodation but everything we needed was there. A good bed, a good shower, a kitchen. It was very quiet but the place is excellent because of its location. We visited Ndumo NP (17km), the next day Tembe NP (only a few km away) and a day at the beach in Sodwana Bay. And we could have visited Kosi Bay as well. There is a Superspar nearby.
