About Senyati Safari Camp

Senyati Safari Camp, famous for its waterhole which attracts about 400 elephant per day during dry season, is located in the Lesoma Valley of the Northern part of Botswana, about 20 km from Kasane.

Senyati is only a one hour drive from Victoria Falls and 10 km from Chobe National Park which makes it a perfect "base camp" for trips to Victoria Falls and into the National Park. Senyati offers free booking assistance to guests for sunset cruise trips on the Chobe river, tiger fishing excursions, safari drives and Victoria Falls Transfers.

Pick up from Kasane International Airport can be arranged. At sunset Senyati is transformed into a small Serengeti with buffalo, elephant, giraffe, orix, hyena, wild dogs and even lion visiting the waterhole. The famous deck which people have described as "The Bar With the Best View in the World" is open all night long for guests who would like to watch animals during the midnight hours.

I absolutely loved Senyati. Booked the 10 person chalet and it was very nice. Best part was elephants were walking right by and we could see out our windows. The views of the watering hole from the lookout was stunning and from the dugout was one of the neatest things I’ve experienced.

The chalet was in the perfect spot to view animals, but was run down and there was not enough utensils in the kitchen. No braai tongs, no toaster.

A beautiful stay. Very much enjoyed the viewing deck, bunker, swimming pool and service. Many thanks.

The setting is good, the mong pool, waterhole and bar area great but the office, grounds and campsite and particularly the older section are tired and in need of maintenance and some tlc. Campsites without shade should not be hired out.
