Enjoyed our stay at Rooftop. Rooms clean and well equiped. Lovely braai area with owners personally involved.

We stayed here for one night. We were very disappointed to learn that the pool has been closed up. We promised our kids an afternoon of swimming. Barkley West is quite far out, very few eating places and grocery shopping. We managed to pick up some things at the Spar and braai at the guest house in their veranda area.

Clean, comfortable rooms with a much needed air conditioner. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were well equipped with a small bar fridge as well. One complaint however, is that the rooms have no windows at all and the bathroom windows opened onto the kitchen (so we obviously couldn't use them). There was also no extractor fan in the bathroom.Dinner was also a problem because the one decent pub in town looked very grotty and dirty. Maybe offering dinner or a self catering option would be an idea.
