We felt rested, calm and satisfied after our stay. Everything was clean, and we felt pampered with all the attention to small detail, that made it a unforgettable overnight stay in the Karoo.

This is by far one of the best places that I have stayed . Everything in the cottage has that personal touch . There is coffee and tea with risks as well as fresh milk which is a bonus . The owners made us feel at home and dinner was out of this world . We will definitely be returning . Thank you Didi and Gerhart for your warm hospitality .

Rietpoort Guest House was a much appreciated overnight facilility. The short drive from the main road is well worth while. It is clean, quiet and well equipped. We will definitely make use of this facility again and hopefully have some time available to experience more of this Karoo farm.

Our stay at the guest house was such a pleasant experience that I tried to stay there again on my way back from the coast - I wasn't surprised that it was fully booked, but wished that we could experience the warm hospitality  again before returning to Gauteng. Alex Daneel
