Rapids Camp is one of the fastest growing camp and team building sites in Kenya, with easy access to the city of Nairobi and the Thika super highway. We can accommodate about 200pax for a garden wedding and reception areas
Our conference facility can accommodate 200pax but due to the cover-19 pandemic we have minimised to halfpax. We provide a projector, whiteboard and wifi.

Rapids Camp has honey moon packages, candle lit dinners, engagement packages which are strategically done either in a romantic bush set up like the William's Island inside the river or at a romantic secluded site inside the camp.
Rapids Camp has been fumigated and the employees have been tested by the government health officials and have been certified to be fit and safe for business

Carry enough food and drinks as shops are 9km away at Sagana town or book your meals with us in advance.
Cooking utensils are available for hire.
We do not allow vehicles on the manicured lawns. We have enough parking area for 50 vehicles.
Diving or swimming is strictly not allowed in the river
Camp fires can only be lit at designated areas
Whilst Rapids Camp is very safe, we recommend that you take care of your valuables
For clients who love partying, a secluded place is set away from other campers and ‘Mututho Laws’ must be observed in full. Otherwise the management reserves the right of admission. A small corkage fee is applicable for clients who come with hot drinks.
We do not provide music systems at the camp, carry your own.
Commercial video filming is not permitted unless under management’s consent.
Do not litter the Camp site please. Plastic bags and containers are provided for that. We don’t allow trash to be thrown into the river.
On arrival, the campsite is usually available for occupation at 8am and the day of departure the dome tents should be vacated by 11am. Groups that wish to extend their stay after 11am an additional small fee of Ksh200 per person shall be charged.
Whilst every possible precaution is made to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, all visitors must ensure that they are adequately covered by their own comprehensive medical and travel insurance policies.
Change in event particulars must be communicated in writing within 72 hours BEFORE the event; otherwise no refunds would be made.
Night car park is free at the upper parking area. For those who may wish to park at the loading zone a fee of Ksh300 per vehicle will be charged. (All parking fees will go towards the local conservation of Tana river and tree nurseries)
For team building groups that come drunk, the camp will have the preserve of the activities to be done. No refunds will be made to groups that break this rule. Our suggestion; any other business can be done after the teambuilding sessions. It is your responsibility as a group to keep arrival time to allow a smooth program.
