About Pavetta Country House
The Pavetta Country House is in a beautiful tranquil setting where you can experience total relaxation. The house is scenically placed next to the Haenertsburg Trout Association’s trophy dam with great views over the dam and the Wood bush indigenous forest. There is a deck area with braai facilities overlooking the dam. Fly fishing is permitted with barbless flies. Fishing is on a catch and release basis only. A row boat is available for our guests use. The house is fully equipped for self catering, fitted with linen and towels and will be serviced daily; just bring your food, drinks and toiletries. Enough fire wood for the fireplaces is provided as well as charcoal for the braai. The house can accommodate 8 to 10 people easily. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms: The main bedroom is e- suite and sleeps 4 people usually for a couple and two children. There is a nook next to the lounge with two beds. Guest sleeping here uses the guest bathroom with a shower. The other two bedrooms are down stairs, on the other side of the house and share a bathroom. It is ideal for use by older children, accompanying friends or another family. A DSTV decoder is available- please bring your own card. No smoking is permitted in the house. Access to the farm is mainly via a cement road, making it very accessible when it is wet in Magoebaskloof.
